Mathieu Sirois joined VBA in May 2000. On April 1, 2007, Mathieu was appointed Senior Portfolio Manager, U.S. Small-Cap Equities. Previously, on July 1, 2006, he was appointed Portfolio Manager, U.S. Small-Cap Equities after being Analyst, U.S. Small-Cap Equities Division.
Mathieu is responsible for conducting research on a broad-spectrum of U.S. small-cap stocks. Mathieu undertakes interviews with management, builds financial models, recommends stocks, and makes the appropriate investment decisions that meet VBA’s investment philosophy and investment discipline. He is also responsible for all the investment decisions related to the U.S. Small Cap Equity product and for managing the U.S. Small Cap Equity Team.
